France DLO

 

In the first week of term 4 room 9 and 10 got a surprise parcel sent to us. Nobody knew who it was from. We opened it up and saw there were letters from different children from the world that wrote  use letters. We chose a partner to work with to make the DLO (Digital Learning Object) about the country they were from. Once we pick a buddy we had to fill out worksheets about what we learnt. My buddy and learnt a lot from this letter and there were heaps of cool things they did in the country.

 

I learnt how to use a audio recorder and how to insert it onto my slide. I thought the audio recorder was very helpful because so you can give more info about the topic or away to help people to know how to say something. I learnt how to add a link to a image.     

I found it easy to use the voice recorder because it was really simple to use and it only had two buttons to press one to start and one to stop. I found it easy to resize images, insert images and insert audio in the slide because I already knew how to do it.

I found it challenging  to Insert a link a webpage, but after the teachers showed how to do it was not so challenging after they showed us how to do it. I also found it hard to make my slide center and tiny because it was very cramped and full.

I enjoyed working with my partner because it made it more easy cause we had to brains to finish it off and we both had are own chrome book so we got to get it finish faster because we got to go on the slide at the same time with our chrome book.

Next time I will add little bit more audio and make my images smaller and more center. Add more on to my google slide and more info.  

Online conversations

We were learning to make a online book about a good conversation and a bad conversation. We did this so we have a better online conversations with people on call so we don't have a bad conversations online. We also had to figure out what one is a bad conversations or good conversations.
I found it easy to add all the text pictures because I knew what I was going to write or what picture that I wanted insert and search for. Also it was easy because I only had to click on few buttons to search and insert pictures.  
I found it hard to insert sounds because you had to not mess up your sentence that your going to say other wise you had to say it all over again and all the background noise from all the other people taking for their book and it makes you not concentrate on what i'm saying.
 I enjoyed adding different emojis to the cover and inside because otherwise your book would look the same as someone else's book. Also then i looks more unique. I also enjoyed that you could do it with one of your friends because then you didn't need to make a different voice.
     Next time I will make my voice more loud so you could hear it more and least stuffy also add some speech bubbles so you don't have to listen to the voice clips.

carrot research question.

 

We were learning to make a research question about a carrot or a sunflower. I enjoyed doing this because you got to make your own research question up and research it. I found it challenging because you had to make a research question from the top of your head. Next time I will do another research question about carrots.

movie trailer powtoon

 

We were learning to make a movie trailer on Powtoons of our favourite book.  choose The Bfg because the Bfg is a very entertaining. I found this hard to make the characters to sit when they can't so I had to make a different poses. I enjoyed this because you got to make a voice over. Next time I will make more slides and text bubbles.    

Hockey home stay home

We were learning to write re own game based on 2 or 3 games to merge together. I found it hard to merge the games together. I found it easy to make the game name. Next time I will make my sentences longer.

 

Maths with Miss Moat

I was learning to Simplify fractions and do basic facts/prototec. I found i easy to do the Simplify fractions. I really enjoyed the prototec for my basic facts. Next time I will get all my answers on my prototec right.

 

How to feed rats

We were learning to make instructions about something easy to do. I found it hard to make it very precise about what I had to wright.  Next time I will add more longer sentences.
